Ink on paper
For my latest piece, I went from realism to minimalist. I wanted to capture just the full moon and its reflection, and then let you add the rest. Thanks to Louis Weimer, in Jacksonville, FL, for supplying the photograph this piece was inspired by.
Hand-ground White Sumi ink and pigments, on Nishinouchi White Nakaban 55g Handmade Heritage Washi, 100% Japanese kozo fiber.

Currently being framed in distressed gold with black sides, with gold accent mat, under Conservation Glass. (frame: 19"x26")
